ETC Local Coordinators (LCs) work closely with high school exchange students, host families, and local high schools. LCs are actively involved in the recruitment of volunteer host families for our international high school students coming for a school year through the U.S. State Department student visa program.
LCs keep in regular monthly contact with host families and students, complete monthly contact forms, mediate conflicts between host family and student should they arise and help to find a resolution, assist both the student and host family with the adjustment process and monitor the students’ progress in school, providing assistance as necessary.
This is an independent contractor position which enables you to work at home and within your own schedule. The Local Coordinator position is family-friendly, flexible, and complements a busy schedule. LCs work approximately 10-20 hours per month depending on how many families they recruit and students they oversee. Personal monthly contact with students is required.

Paid training provided. LCs will receive full training and ongoing support from their Field Manager. Incentive bonuses include cash, gift cards and travel opportunities.

Pay: $15.00 – $30.00 per hour
COVID-19 considerations:Students will meet U.S. State Department and ETC requirements for COVID testing, vaccination and precautions.
