Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Supervision of children during arrival. Must greet all parents and children by name.
Assist with planned activities, including but not limited to, arts, crafts, music, games and any indoor or outdoor activities.
Assist the children with clean up; of themselves, of spills or messes they make, hand washing – before and after going to the bathroom, and diaper changing.
Assist with meal and snack preparation, serving, cleaning up, dental hygiene. After lunch – cleaning of kitchen, sweeping, mopping and disposing of garbage.
Assist with nap/quiet time preparations – getting mats and blankets out and putting the children down.
Interact with children during free play, outdoor play, and structured play activities. Children should have at least two water breaks each day. Especially during summer months.
Assist with lesson plans and related activities, music, games, and field trips.
Write daily reports during nap time.
Assist with daily cleaning procedures – including but not limited to – vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, cleaning of bathrooms, taking out trash, dusting – cubbies, windows, sterilizing of toys, mats and outdoor area.
All out door areas will be cleaned by each class before coming back in. Cleaning consist of but not limited to, placing toys and play materials in appropriate containers or storage building.
There may be times you may be asked to leave early or stay late, depending on the amount of children.
TEACHER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE TO MAKE SURE LESSONS PLANS, PORT FOLIOS, CLEANING AND DAILY ACTIVITIES ARE BEING DONE.
