Job Summary:
The Inmate Accounts ) is responsible for carrying out all of the orders, whether written or verbal, or supervisory personnel under the supervision of the Warden, Chief of Security, and Administrative Supervisor.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:· Responsible for accurately posting deposits to offender accounts
· Responsible for answering offender inquiries regarding offender accounts
· Responsible for preparing monthly reports for Recovering indigent funds, commissary sales, federal offender reimbursements
· Responsible for maintaining offender files containing copies of deposited funds
· Responsible for preparing daily deports for Offender/Offender Welfare Accounts
· Responsible for preparing checks drawn on Offender/Offender Welfare Accounts
· Perform all other duties assigned pertaining to job by supervisory personnel
· Will be cross trained with the booking procedures, as well as the release procedureRequired Knowledge Skills/Abilities:· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
· Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
· Basic knowledge of Accounting and/or Banking is a MUST.Education and Experience:· High School Diploma / GED
