Overview

Position Overview:
The Spare Parts Analyst is responsible for measuring and satisfying Siemens Energy (SE) objectives and goals for quote and order cycle time, and pricing responsibility to meet the margin objectives of the Product Line. Responsible for preparing various levels of Recommended Spare Parts lists (RSL) for new units and aftermarket inventory purposes, scheduled maintenance, and major overhauls in order to support SE GP I SV CP Marketing & Sales objectives and goals. Coordinates with Inside Sales Analysts, Account Managers and CP representatives in preparing appropriate RSL’s within requested or schedule timeframe. Support and participate in development of E-Catalog digitalization effort for clients and regional sales organization. Recommended Spares List quotations/proposals for replacement parts from inquires/orders received directly from customer or representative.
Responsibilities:

Prepare formal bids and proposals, using existing computer system and/or available tools to prepare/enter quotes in Oracle/SAP.
Obtain supplier pricing and delivery as needed per the outlined pricing guidelines and procedures.
Communicate with clients (both internal and external) for clear understanding of data requested or provided.
Initiate Engineering jobs for review and updates as needed by client requirements.
On all quotes/orders under incumbent’s control, he/she will be responsible for: review, verification, pricing, delivery, margins, entry and coordination in a timely fashion.
Coordinate with Engineering and Manufacturing to establish new drawings, drawing revisions and the use of alternate material to resolve delivery and scheduling problems.
Provide support to Inside Sales team to generate orders from Recommended Spare Parts List.
Cross train to provide backup to other members of the team.
Other miscellaneous duties to support the Marketing & Sales Team

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

Associates degree with 2-4 years business/technical experience.
Ability to multitask and work under time constraints to meet deadlines.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

A minimum of 2+ years of experience in parts operations, customer service or equivalent field.
Experience with Oracle and/or SAP.
Experience in one of the following fields: Oil & Gas / Turbomachinery or Rotating Equipment / Heavy Industries / Energy /Aerospace.

Pay: $22.00 – $24.00 per hour
